In 2023, I concluded my PhD at the University of Bergen in Norway, where I explored how learning analytics can be used to gain new insights from peer assessment
data. This work helped me develop a deep knowledge of educational data and the dynamics of peer assessment, as well as reflect on collected data and its limitations.
After my PhD, I worked as a Senior Researcher at the Centre for the Science of Learning & Technology (SLATE) at the University of Bergen, Norway. I successfully contributed my analytical and research skills to several research projects with international and national partners on topics ranging from virtual and remote labs, multimodal collaboration, and co-designing teacher dashboards to the development of teaching materials for higher education instructors to implement learning analytics-based interventions.
As a Postdoctoral Research at CATALPA, FernUniversität Hagen, I am interested in critical evaluation of emerging technologies (e.g., generative artificial intelligence) and exploring ways how new technologies can support not only teaching and learning in higher education but also research practices. I am passionate about developing materials for teaching and learning emerging analytics methods, such as Epistemic Network Analysis and Transition Network Analysis. I am interested in creating practical data-driven solutions for practitioners and students and supporting effective assessment and feedback practices through educational technology. As an extension, I also aim to examine the effectiveness of learning analytics tools, such as dashboards. In my research, I focus on topics, such as computer-supported collaborative learning, peer assessment, writing analytics and learning design.
